MY STORY

Hi everyone, it's a privilege to connect with you here. Over the years I have supported individuals facing challenges such as negative self-beliefs, emotion dysregulation, anxiety, depression, trauma, narcissistic abuse, divorce, co-parenting and attachment styles. I wholeheartedly believe that everyone has the capacity to overcome their challenges and function at their full potential, given the right tools, resources and support. My mission is to empower my clients to step into their personal power, heal from unhelpful beliefs and patterns so that they can experience more love, fulfilment and joy in their lives.

I am especially attuned to the deep-seated impacts of traumas on the Nervous System and day-to-day functioning, as well as the important need for a trauma-sensitive approach in therapy. That's why I started Haven for Hearts Counselling and Therapy. I wanted to create a therapeutic space that feels safe and welcoming. A nurturing place where you can commence the processes of self-discovery, unpacking what you are currently experiencing in your life and healing with my guidance and support.

As someone who relocated to Australia at a young age, my experiences navigating different cultural norms and values have not only shaped who I am but also instilled in me a unique perspective for cultural sensitivity. This enables me to bring an inclusive and empathetic approach in my practice as a therapist, as I have an appreciation for how different cultural and societal contexts play a role in shaping identities, personal values and relationship dynamics.

My interest lies in helping my clients feel heard, understood and supported so they can start to connect with their true nature and learn to live their lives from a place of wholeness instead of limiting beliefs. I am a firm believer that life is a mirror and that our outer world reflects our inner world and once we start to understand that, we have so much more power than we can imagine.
